The Flats @ 703 is a newly completed boutique apartment complex suited with 105 residences located in the heart of downtown Towson.
Fence & Deck Connection partnered with Kinsley Construction of Timonium, Maryland, to supply and install custom manufactured railing systems for the 6 story luxury apartment building.
Since the Flats @ 703 offers a unique blend of modern industrial charm with warm textures and finishes, it was important to choose a railing system that could match the architecturally unique layout of the structure. We chose Ultralox premium powder-coated aluminum railing to compliment the fresh modern industrial look in the following areas:

Balcony Railings at The Flats @ 703
In order to maintain the great views of this downtown location, Ultralox Victorian Aluminum Railing with ½' x ¾" aluminum pickets was chosen. The railing was surface mounted to the floor of the balcony to maintain the clean lines of the contemporary design. Ultralox Aluminum Railing uses hidden fasteners and textured powder coating for outstanding beauty and durability.
Juliette Balconies at The Flats @ 703
We installed custom juliette-style balcony railings, matching the modern edge of the architectural design of the building. We continued with Ultralox and installed a bronze Victorian premium powder-coated aluminum picket rail system for it's contemporary look. Ultralox Aluminum Railing is manufactured in the USA and backed by a 20 year warranty.
Rooftop Railing at The Flats @ 703
The Flats community amenities include a 360 degree view roof top lounge & sundeck. For this space, we continued with Bronze Ultralox Aluminum with 1/2" x 3/4' vertical aluminum pickets for non-obtrusive site lines - perfect for a city oasis with panoramic views.

The Flats community amenities include an enclosed leash-free dog walk with waste & water station. For this space, we continued with Bronze Ultralox Victorian Aluminum top rail with 1/2" x 3/4' vertical aluminum pickets to match the architecture and modern charm of the building.
